Sun PDF Import Extension, an OpenOffice extension introduced by Sun enables you to import the PDF documents in to OpenOffice Draw and provides the modifying capabilities. That is any ‘PDF/ODF hybrid’ file can be opened without effecting the layout properties using this PDF Import Extension. Without PDF import extension a PDF file can be viewed with PDF viewer but cannot be modified.

Unexpectedly i visited this blog through a search engine and learnt that openoffice supports pdf editing. I had been trying with so many free pdf editors available online but didnot serve my purposes. I heard from one of my friend that Nitro pdf editor works well to solve all my problems editing pdf files. But when i went to that site i found that Nitro PDF professional is available as a commercial software. I think this PDF Importer may solve all my pdf editing problems. I already started downloading openoffice software.
