FeedBurner : How to Socialize Your Feed.

If you are an user of Twitter and tweeting the updates of your blog or website manually, you must use the Socialize feature of Google FeedBurner to automatically publish your updates on your twitter account. For doing so your blog or website must support feed with the latest updates. You must first add your feed to your FeedBurner account in order to make use of that feed by FeedBurner. From your FeedBurner menu go to Publicize and click Socialize and add your Twitter account details.

FeedBurner provides other options to set the format of the tweet that has to be published on to your twitter account. You may post the tweet content with 3 different options that is you may choose option to post only ‘title’ or ‘title and content’ or ‘Content only’ from your feed item. You can add the link to your update by selecting include link option which posts a Google short link (which is provided by Google URL shortening service) to your update. You can set up to 8 items to be tweeted to your twitter profile which are not tweeted earlier.

You can also use some keywords to filter the items that match those keywords from your feed and tweet only those items to your twitter profile. This service can be used as an alternative to the twitterfeed (explained in my earlier post) or you may switch from twitterfeed as FeedBurner Socialize supports tweeting up to 8 items at a time where as in twitterfeed it supports only 5 items at a time at this moment.
